Can you believe this guy is a sibling to the girl above. It shows you the variation in color. Most of these were red and the parents were very red but this one was unusual. He has the most inquisitive personality and is becomming my favorite male. I like the glossy dark brown with yellow spots.

Very nice Mike. Just curious, how big are these two length/weight. Thanks
I am guessing around 30". No guess on weight though.
Hey Mike,
These are not doubt kick a.., bloods, but I must ask if there is any evidence that these guys are truely Malaysians, as apposed to Sumatran Reds? Just curious. There are so few true Malaysians out there that when someone post their animals as Malaysians, one has to wonder.

Both parents are 15 yr old F1 CB from wild caught Malaysian parents. Mom from Tom Huff (Reptile Breeding Foundation), Dad from Doctor Bob Kohler (North Carolina)
Hey,
Thanks for the reply. That's the kind of smart reply I like. Hope you are planning some breeding with these guys in the future. Would love to see more Malaysians in the country.

I have a pair that are supposed to be Malaysian and they are a bit on the skitish side. I have said this before but my Malaysians have extraordinary color and contrast, unfortunately their temperaments aren't extraordinary. If I remember right Dave Barker said that their Malaysians, even those bred at the facillity, were pretty questionable in the behavior department. Do you have any feelings or input on that either way?
Since you have good provenance have you noted any scalation differences between your Malaysians and Sumatrans?
Steve
I have had Sumatrans with good and bad behaviors and Malaysians with good and bad behaviors. Bad behavior is the exception as most are docile. I have never owned a WC blood. I have not checked out scalation.
