You didn't mention size or age. Anyway, when I got my guy he was 15 inches long and about 4 months old. I fed him 1 pinkie every 4 days and then about 3 weeks later, I went to 2 pinkies every 4 days. 7 weeks later I went to 1 fuzzy every 4 days. He was on that for 8 weeks and then went to 2 fuzzies. 6 weeks later he went to a fuzzy and a crawler. (At this point I changed the feeding interval to every 5 days) He went to 1 hopper 3 weeks later. Then 2 hoppers 3 weeks after that. 4 weeks after that he got his first adult. I changed his feeding interval to every 6 days when he started on adult mice. That is his feeding schedule now. He is about 35 inches long now. I started him off in a 29 gallon aquarium and last month I moved him into his new viv a month ago. I had fun building it and I think Motega likes it too.

Also, I paid $45.00 for mine at a pet store (he is a normal). As for tips on cage decor.... I hope you enjoyed the pics.

I'm new to owning a corn snake but nothing's gone wrong so far. I got my corn for $10 from a local breeder and she was only a few days old but she had shed and eaten a pinkie(probably 8-10 inches). She is an Okeetee phase corn and I've had her for about 3 weeks. Right now I feed her 1 pinkie every 5 days and she's doing great.
For cage decor I have some cork bark, fake leaves(she loves to climb around in those), a rock cave, a water bowl, and some other stuff. She seems to like it in there and the important thing is to make sure that there are plenty of places to hide. My cage setup cost around $50-60(that includes cage, heat pad, and other accessories).
Hope this helps!
