i just advanced to candidacy last month and i'm just starting my thesis right now. my thesis will be on american options on two risky assets. not much work in that area.....
what's yours on? do you go to UCSD?

on how cute uros are, LOL, i wish it would be done already! it is comparing and contrasting the view of the cuban newspaper on the economic changes made in the 1990s, like what did they say about some of the changes that seemed to be the opposite of communism and did they work, with those in certain books. basially i am seeing what the cuban gov said and what researchers found and seeing if political preference on the researchers part determines divergence. real exciting, ha ha

Fascinating topics, both of them! So far outside my realm. I am writing articles on things like "Structuring your development team to leverage undergraduate student skills", and "Active learning in the Professional Development Arena". Isn't it interesting what can be turned into educationally oriented fodder?

I am repeatedly astounded at the amount of people in this forum with, or working on, advanced degrees. Is that true of most lizard forums, or do Uros just attract a more educated crowd? Hmmm, another potential thesis topic!

Good Luck both of you on your Thesis. I must admit to being glad I am not dealing with that right now.

my herps are my escape from my research. when i'm not working or teaching, i'm at home with my animals. but the downside is when i have toooo much work and my animals get the short end of the stick.
