Wakemon Island Guyanas.

madisonrecords Sep 05, 2005 03:31 PM

Very few of these were brought in a few years ago. Wakemon Island is a Island on a part of the Essiquibo that is 7 miles wide. These Boas show some very different color characteristics from anything else that I have seen. I cannot capture it in a photo. They have scales of Blue and Green and Mauve. Hope to breed these guys and keep them pure. To my knowledge, these are the only breeding " pair " from this locality.......Johnson Herp

Big 11ft essiquibo female getting mobed by a bunch of 8ft males. They were getting re-adjusted and now back at it again. I feel sorry for her. She is getting ready to come out of a shed and then they will probably tear her apart. It has pretty much been none stop........Johnson Herp

Thanks for sharing, just a few of to many and I hope things go well this year. I am actually going to make the effort to breed. Some interesting stuff going on in the realm of true Locality Boas around here and we will stay tuned. No, I am not a good camera man, but I am learning.......Johnson Herp

I like the light guy, he is awesome. John often when you post pics of your boas you say they are not the best looking or ulgy you really are underrating your animals. You have an impressive collection of boas from some great bloodlines and your locality Guyana's are awesome. Oh and by the way...you need to sell me that awesome Belknap female! PLEASE! She is awesome and if you ever go crazy and decide to part with her please hit me up, I would love to have her! Good luck with your breedings. Later

These are Essiquibo Guyanas, if you are referring to the group with the 11footer. I have only gotten one female from jeff and she is this small 6 footer pictured here.......Johnson Herp
