Color Variation in Coleonyx mitratus

Left: Normal
Middle: Melanistic or Hypermelanistic
Right: Red

You're saying that the left one is the normal? All I've ever seen is ones that look like the middle one (darker)... or at least more like it than either left or right. The one at Petco is the first one that I've seen that was so light colored.

Looks like perfectly normal variation within a highly variable species. I bred this species a few years back and got alot of variation out of my hatchlings even from individual breeding colonies, let alone the variation I got between hatchlings from different colonies.
