light cycles

i have been hearing different opinions on light cycles, like a white bulb and a red bulb should bulbs be changes out at night to offer heat but no light , i have herd from many people to just leave the regular bulb on 24/7 , what is everyones opinion on this , i myself change bulbs at night just because my cage is in my room by my bed and i cant sleep wit that light shineing down on me,

If you look up the past discussions in the archieves you can read why. The best sucess comes from 24/7 basking lights, try a blind on the door of the cage or put the cage elsewhere.
