What makes a super pastel a super pastel? pictures to illustrate

thebigsquease Sep 05, 2005 10:39 PM

I bred a pastel to pastel and got a clutch of four eggs. All hatched and I got all pastels. Now, For sure one is a Super. Just looking at it,a super comes to mind. Two are classic pastels. Bright, colorful and attractive. The final one is somewhere between the pastels and the super.
This is what I know: The super has a bright pink tongue, the pastels have red tongues. The unknown has a pink tongue. The super has a light purple head, the pastels have normal heads. The unknown has a purple head.

Hey Ron, Can you post a picture showing all there heads?

From the looks of it you might have 2 supers although an all head shot would be easier to tell!

PS: Congrats on the clutch!! The known super looks amazing!!

Thanks Erik

I got a few pictures I can post of the super, the pastels and the one I think might be also a super. If someone could explain to me on how to post here. Maybe one day, they will figure a way of making this simple so anyone can post, and not have to have a PhD in computer science.
