What Rat snakes and Garters allowed to be kept in Indiana

ValkyrieGhost Sep 06, 2005 02:08 AM

I used to have a list but I think I lost it when I wiped my computer last. The DNR website doesn't offer much help. Anyone have a list of the morphs/types allowed?

No eastern, plains or butlers(endangered)garters. No black rats.No gray rats(the state lists them, but no known populations.)I believe that breeder permits are avaiable for the black. The law states exceptions for albinos not found in the wild.It also defines albino as a generally whiteish snake.
