UVA and UVB what are they for? is one more important then the other? n/p

UVB is very important to bearded dragons and many other reptiles as they require it to produce vitamine d3, which in turn, they need to metabolize calcium. Without UVB, they can't use the calcium they injest through diet. UVA, I am not sure of it's importance, but I beleive it also benefits bearded dragon's overall health and color...but not sure on the specifics.
