Mine of course. I bought 3 eastern boxies from someone on line here (not sure if we are allowed to mention names). The came today- regular mail. Only 2 were in the box and 1 was dead. I Feel awful and not sure where to go from here. I register a rip off complaint but is there anything else i can do?

do you have a recite? how much did you pay for all three?

do you mean you got 2 alive and one dead.. or one alive and one dead?
what kind of mail did they come by? UPS, FedEx, AirExpress?
how long of a trip did they have?(days?)
first thing you should do is get the alive one(s) in some water to rehidrate, offer some food though they/it most likely will not eat for a few days/weeks, get them/it comfortable in their/its' new habitat
I dont know what to tell you about the dead turtle
did you get them off the kingsnake classifieds or someone who posts on the forums?
Good luck!

Well I have to update the story. The person I was expecting turtles from (and thought the one that arrived in thatin the am. were from) did send then airborne and the 3 arrived in the afternoon healthy. These cam from someone else who had said they would send me shipping numbers on last monday- never recieved any more info from them- then lo and behold these were the ones that showed up in my mail. They were in a box with only a few balls of newspaper in it and they were wrapped up extremely tightly in tube socks. The one that died seemed like there was no way it could even open up the tiniest bit. Is it possible for them to suffocate?

it's possible the one could have suffocated but I'd think the other one would have too, were there any air holes in the box they came in?
my turtle was poorly packaged aswell in a box with another small styrofoam box inside, newspaper and a sock (which she somehow managed to get out of)no air holes, I was just happy she arrived alive and healthy, though she did smell like urine she soaked the newspaper and sock, it's a shame that you lost one turtle, glad to hear the rest are okay though, good luck with your group
