This is a result of crossing the Love strain and Doud Beard strain hypos. The Love strain seem to have no flecking on the belly and the Beard strain has a lot of flecking. These babies are a result and have minimal flecking on the belly. Besides that I thought they came out unusually dark.
Besides being a "stronger strain" (less inbreeding) I wonder how these will turn out?

I have done that cross as well , with some of the offspring appearing the same or darker as those in the pic. Over the course of the first year the majority of them lightened up nicely like other hypos, some retained darker blotches.Interesting to see others getting similar results...

Here's a few that just hatched for me this morning. Of course, they need to shed to see what they'll be like. Somewhat darker than my other line.
