Motley Boas 100% Het T+ Albino - Finally here...whew!

Boarepublic Sep 06, 2005 05:18 PM

Man....I was so off on the birth date of this girl. Everyday, was "any day now!" Last night, finally. Better late than never!
These Motleys are a result of a Columbian T pos Albino Male bred to a Columbian Motley Female. This project is a combined effort between me (Boa Republic) and Jack Briggs at DesignerSnakes.
We're SUPER excited about this project! We can't wait for the first T pos Motley's to be produced!
Thanks for looking!

asking about her breeding from Colombian Motley X Colombian T-positive Albino. She said it didn't take, the male was too young. Bummer, then you have this!

Out of curiosity, was the Motley a Colombian Motley, or was it one of the C.A. mutation X Red Group produced a while back?

Boarepublic Sep 06, 2005 09:14 PM

Hey Chris!
I mentioned they were both Columbian in my first post, but here's a cool pic where you can get a better idea of their size!

Enjoy!

by bad. Thanks though.

That picture gives a nice representation of both animals. I wasn't big on Colombian morphs due to size, the only one I have is my Albino. I promised myself after college to start again, and I know where I am starting!

I can tell from the picture that the T pos is the Barker line. Which kind of motley is it, CA? I have a Burke line T pos het male from 04 but need a female. I wonder if anyone will try the two together to see if they are compatable any time soon!? I'm betting it will be a while. Well congratulations again! Nice!

between the T-positive Colombian and the T-positive (mainland) Nicaraguans, will result in incompatibility.

The mutations work in very different ways in the way they are expressed and effect the animals chemical makeup.

Alex,

That's a great breeding. Congratulations to you and Jack. It always better to be the first. Poor Jeremy is probably crying over your pics saying why not me. lol. Keep up the good work.

Congrats! Alex & Jack. I must say that I have seen a lot of interesting pairings the past couple of years, most of which seem interesting from a genetics perspective, but not so neat of an end result (IMHO). This Motley-T-positive Columbian combo has a great future.

Way to go!

CONGRATS ALEX,

That is a KILLER Combo. Great to see all the people who invested in the Motley project do well with it this year. You were the first to invest in the project, and you have done a great job. CONGRATS!!!!! Now we can get the GREAT LOOK of the pattern without the black pigment. I was thinking the Hypo Motley would do it, but it doesn't. (Still a killer morph because no two are the same). Now we have all 3 Motleys in the T positive Trait. The Central, Columbian, and Argentine. And can you imagine the SUPER? I know you can. lol
