I'm in the market for a pastel and debating between these two. I've heard the Graziani produces nicer Supers however I think NERD Lemons look quite nicer in general. Which do all of you prefer and why?

I like the the Lemon Pastels for their almost flouresent yellow color.

I have a bell line 04 female and a 05 Grazianni Male (which I purchased direct from Greg) both are beautiful But My graziani male is already 310 gms!
the bell line is a little more butter colored, and the Graziani is more like an egg yolk color.
I've also heard it said that these lines hold their color better... will see.

Remember... the overall look of ANY line of pastel Ball python comes just as much from the other parent, so selection of the normal parent becomes just as important for future breedings. I've seen examples from all of the lines that don't compare with other expamples and I'm willing to bet that the normal parent has quite a bit to do with it... lighter colored normal parents should yield lighter, brighter pastels.

Couldn't agree more. Saw two litters from the same Graziani male to a light and dark normal female and there was no comparison. The pastels from the light female were electric while those from the dark female barely looked like pastels.

The problem is that too many people out there are selling nerd pastels as lemons. Nerd has pastel s and lemons. There is nothing to date that has been produced that can match the super lemon that is produced from true lemons. The only thing that may be comparable to them will be super blondes. I have yet to see a super blonde but hopefully i will produce one myself next season.
I have lemons and blondes and nothing compares to them as adults.

Just my 2 pennies.
