Ratings for Hypo/Ghosts

EmberBall Jul 18, 2003 01:05 PM

It looks as if the different lines of Axanthics, and Pastels have been rated according to which line they are from, especially Pastels. I do not hear much about the different lines and color phases of Hypos/Ghosts. The only lines I really have heard anything about are NERD Orange ghosts and the Bell line Hypos. Can we catagorize the different lines? Which is the most sought after color for Hypos, and who has some of the better lines for each....Orange, Butterscotch, Green, Yellow etc. If I wanted a top of the line Yellow ghost, who would I go to....

. . .seeing as my only "morph" is a green ghost. I picked him over an orange ghost of about the same age. I thought the green ghost had a more dramatic look to him. People don't seem to be as excited about the yellows and greens as they are the oranges. I can't figure out why. I'd also like to have a quantifier of what makes a yellow ghost different than a butterscotch or a green. The whole hypo/ghost group is very confusing to me. I can see the differences, but not necessarily enough to pick a yellow from a butterscotch, and so I am curious as to what people think the gradient is from best to "worst" looking hypo. I don't plan on making a mint with my ghost, but it would be interesting to know where he fits with all the others. I guess we'll know more when we get to see the difference orange/green/yellow/butterscotch makes in double homo morphs like the hypo mojave and pastel hypo. Not to mention that killer coral glow. I'd love to hear input from other ghost owners/enthusiasts or anyone who likes a certain ghost type better and why.

Their adult female that they just proved out is the best ghost I've seen. My second favorite would be Nerds orange ghost.

Here are 2 female yellow ghosts that are Mark Bell's line. They are my favorite out of all the hypos.

Here are my orange and yellow ghosts, orange male and yellow/green female. The orange is supposedly from NERD.
