I just love them. They come in so many different forms throughout their range, and I have finally assembled somewhat of a breeding group all the way from the midwest to the farthest eastern populations of their range. It is going to be fun over the years working with these great snakes.
On the topic of your albino checkerboard....I too have a lone female het for lavender amel. I bought her from Manny in Daytona last year, snd she is an '03. After some serious thought I have decided to only work on locale types, which leaves her an extra girl to deal with. I plan on taking her to the Dixie Reptile Show this month, and I have no clue what to ask for her. Don't get me wrong, the money isn't my biggest concern, but I have no idea what these things are even worth. I think I paid him around $75.00. What would be reasonable?
