Diego is almost 2!

reptileszz Sep 07, 2005 06:13 AM

Hi there, I thought I would post a couple of pics of Diego who hatched here in October, 2003. She is a monster. We think she is a she anyway. Monster-sized that is. She is very very tame for a rhino this young and doesnt mind being petted and whatnot. Not flighty at all. Like most cyclura she HATES to be picked up tho!

...looks very female...the "June 05 Big Fat Porker" picture on your web page photos is convincing. The relatively narrow head and the pear shaped figure are very femimine features for C. Corunta. Nice set up, An outside view is a huge plus.

Thanks for the compliments John. This iguana can EAT. Let me tell you. She eats and eats and eats, whatever I put in there. I have never seen anything like it. Kharma ate well when she got here (has slowed significantly) but this one... WOW

I will try and be better about posting pics more often!

Carole

PS here is a link to her whole album.

Thanks Carole, I saw Diego's pics -- very nice. The appetite is one of the things I like best about rhino iguanas -- it is so voratious that it makes for a very hearty lizard.
