These are really cool animals. A friend of mine had some years ago, and although they are good captives, they can be a little on the 'insane, face-eating side.' His were exceptionally quick animals, so work on your hook and tailing skills.

I'll keep that in mind. I have only ever seen a few in person, but I understand them to have very docile temperaments. That's not to say that there aren't aggressive individuals, or that a particularly docile snake can have a sudden change of heart.

They are gorgeous snakes Aaron, glad to see you decided to go with something a bit less lethal than the DAs. It goes without saying to keep a steady head and never go by the norm of a species until you've worked with the individual(s) for a while. I imagine you'll do fine though. I just wish collett's were more commonly available here in the US....
