I've had both iggy's and Water Dragons. Iguanas are very tempermental and often tailwhip at you. I've never had an iggy bite me though. Water dragons are more jumpy when they are younger but as they mature I've noticed they calm down quite a bit. Water dragons are carnivores where iggy's are herbivores increasing the chance for Calcium deficiencies. I currently keep water dragons. They are awesome lizards. Not as big as iggy's but they are a nicer lizard.

Hope this helps!

Scott
