I am looking to buy a new bearded dragon. I have one male right now but i am looking to buy a new female. I really am concidering either a german giant or a snow hypomelanistic. Can anyone suggest an online breeder that has worked well for them in the past?

try Vickie & Rob Dachiu @ dachiu.com, Terri @ Fire & Ice Dragons or Kevin Dunne @ Dragon's Den. I have hypos and other dragons from these breeders. They all are good choices & know what they're doing. You can't go wrong with one of their dragons. Thanks, Teresa (TBK Dragons.

I would recommend a reptile expo. I got my boy at the All Ohio Reptile Expo last year and he's great! I warn you to be very careful though at any expo, there are some people there that sell really sickly animals and sometimes ones that are illegal so make sure only to buy ones that are captive bred and you know are legal in your state(almost every bearded dragon is captive bred; its illegal to import them from australia). Also, it helps to have an experienced reptile owner/breeder or even better, a vet to look at the animal before you buy it. Also make sure to get a guarentee writen out in case of death/illness. Other than that, you can shop around for good deals(and eliminate the cost of shipping!) and its really fun to be able to see so many people who love reptiles all in the same place.
