Dust product question??

I recently noticed my Zoo-Med Repti-Vite has an exspire date of 10/05. So I was wondering if I should use it after the date or is that not really realivent and it is safe to use for a longer time than what the date says?? That being said I went out to purchase some new dust and all the store had was HerpCare cricket dust, buy Mardel(Virbac Animal Health)Inc. I was wondering if anyone has used this product??? Is it as good as Zoo-Meds repti-vite??? I not sure if I should use it or just try and order some Zoo-Med, please help??

PS The box is in brown lettering and has a picture of a veiled chameleon and bearded dragon on it.

I would think that the expiration date is a "sell by" date and you still have some time to use the product after that date and it still be effective.
