Question about lost scales

I have a ball python that lost a few scales on its head. Will they come back? I put some neosporin on her head, will that help?

I had a male lose a big head scale a few years ago during a shed, and over time it came back to normal.

It did take several sheds, but you can't see were it was missing now.
