Excellent choice for a first time bci. My first boa was a brazilian rainbow definatly not a snake that will hang out with a person for long. I have a Hog isle ( as well as some others listed below) I can not say enough about the hoggs, mine is very docile and easy to work with. Just a pleasure to have. Be carefull or your going to end up a convert. Have fun, they are a completly different kind of snake. Clint
