Missing Anal Spurs

snakeball Sep 07, 2005 08:06 PM

My het albino female is 950 grams, very healthy, eats 1 rat every week and always has complete sheds, in other words no problems. I noticed the other day that one of her spurs was about to fall off. I checked her today and it is gone. She does'nt seem to be bothered by it. Is this something that happens from time to time? Will it grow back? Will it affect her fertility? Has this happened to anyone else out there? Any info would be much appreciated.

Hi, I don't have any experience on this with BP's but I assume that it isn't any different from chondros. Some of the older chondromales I own loose a spur sometimes wehen they get long. They break but grow back. Do you have a picture for us?

I don't think it will affect fertility as longs as it is simply the spur and she is healthy otherwise.
