Woke up to a litter of peruvians this morning

Mark Damico Sep 07, 2005 08:58 PM

I was a little disappointed with the slug ratio, 12 live, 6 slugs. Back in 03 she gave me 13 live. But....I'm not complaining and feel fortunate to have gotten what I got. They are really nice looking and BIG! Unbelieveable the difference in size between the surinams I had last week and these peruvians.

I've got one more, a brazilian amarali that should be dropping in a week or two and my season is done.

Take care,
Mark

Send Sal and Bats up here and let me take a picture, while I am putting them into their new cages! Oh, Ya I am supposed to be done buying. What a sickness. Good luck with them this year.........Johnson Herp

I should have never sold those Peruvians to you six years ago! I wanted them to go to someone that did not know what they were doing! Now, I have had to watch you produce out of them for the last few years and eat crow! Just kiddin, Buddy! You have done an awesome job and you know it. It is amazing just how strong the line with those Iquitos really are. Outside of one or two, the babies from all of those females have turned out to look very much like the mom that had them. They really carry the torch for Classic Iquitos Peruvians. Cannot wait to see how they turn out!.........Johnson Herp
