Ok well if I understand everyone correclty use are saying my blood wont eat if the humidity is 40%? I sprayed the cage today and it went to 75% but now the ambients are 88!!!!.....I cant have that all day.....anyway are you sure humidity makes themnot eat? Would it be ok if i left the humidity howe it is and just soaked him in warm water for like 30 mins 1x a week?>

Ok dude... LOOK, we cant come to your house and give you the stuff to set it up correctly. If your temps arent staying at an appropriate level you need to set up some heat tape and a proportional thermostat so that they do so. Then get a water bowl an appropriate size for the cage so that water will evaporate at the heat level and keep the cage at the appropriate humidity. A 12q with a ten or so small holes in the side should be fine with like a 4 or 5" water bowl. You seem concerned but you dont seem to be doing anything that anyone tells you. I dont know what else to say.

YES,I can't tell you this or stress the fact HUMIDITY IS ESSENTIAL TO BLOOD PYTHONS WELLBEING.Why can't you believe that as fact. Not only will they not eat they WILL NOT THRIVE.They come from jungles and live in rice patties in Sumatra and Malaysia.
The best advice for a enclosure and cheapest was Jordan's. RUBERMAID,FLEXWATT HEAT TAPE AND THERMOSTAT.

Ditto... you can't beat undertank heating and a thermostat. It does all the work and thinking for you, all you have to do is double check it with a digital thermometer...

I use cypress mulch. The LOWEST humidity I've had was 60%. I actually have to bake the moisture out of it or I have 90% humidity.

I amlistening to evbertyone...I have used everyones advise....I was just wondering.....NO1 answered my question about spraying everyday or bathing 1x a week? Cqan I do that instead of getting 70% himidty?

Fix your husbandry problems first, THEN get your snake eating... THEN you can start handling him again....
