Differentiating Pastel Lines?

gentlemantw0 Sep 07, 2005 10:55 PM

Hi everyone, I was wondering how a pastel lines are differentiated. I've been looking at pastels and it seems many look quite the same or are not distinguishable at all. Lemons, of course, really stand out from the rest. From what I've learned, the three main lines are Graziani, NERD, and Bell. I've seen a few others but they were a different kind of deal. I'm trying to identify my pastel, if it would help, I could try and post some other pics. Thanks for the advice, I know a lot of you know a lot more than I do.

Acculy yours looks like a nerd line, it has very little blushing, the intence color, and little brown flag this one.

My best guess from the pic would be Bell line.(Which is actually a good line to have as most adults stay clean looking.)

Why?...
It appears to have very little to no orange tint in the upper range of the yellow areas.

The black area appears to have a nice dark contrast with little blushing(in comparison to most Graziani and NERD lines).

The overall pattern it appears to have.(Which of course could be due to the mother and not the pastel sire).

imho...NERD lines tend to have faint almost greenish tint(more of a hue)to the yellow. It really intesifys the way the yellow jumps out at you too.

Good luck with your project/s.
