RUBBER BOA....and her cute little babies.... ahhhh....plus a question??

ok here she is .....how soon will these little suckers eat...?
any ideas they are only three days old...born on sep.4.05
i cant wait for them to latch onto a pinky ....mmm yum yum

notice the mother eatin a blue belly lizard...then she ate three fuzzies...............yummy......

Wow! Very cool. I've never worked with them before (I am tempted)but I do read the RUBBER BOA.com website. plenty of info there. I think they say that the ones that don,t eat can be cooled and then eat well in the spring.sorry I couldn't help more but I'm sure if you also check the rosy/rubber boa forum you'll get plenty good advice. good luck.

I love rubber boas and have bred them for a few years.

Getting babies to feed is really about patience. First, wait until they shed. I have had good luck with putting a dead pinkie under a cramped hidebox with the baby. I just pack some aspen under the hidebox so there is very little room and place the pinkie under there with the snake. Somehow that stimulates feeding when other things fail.

That DOR photo of the Black Milk you posted a little while ago, Was it more grey, or blsck like ours and just looked that way in the photo?
