partial pinstripe/flame babies

flamedcrestie Sep 08, 2005 12:54 PM

just a couple partial pins/flames.
these were produced, one from an orange female, and one from a yellow female. both with a partial pinstripe male with very little pinstriping. out of every clutch so far exactly 50% have had nearly the exact same amount of pinstriping which just shows how strong the gene is.

Is that pepper all over the greyish one's head? Too, too cute! How old are those guys?

they're 1-2 months old. and yes, the one has a very strange color pattern on it's head. it almost looks like pinholes or something i have 3 that are like that. maybe we can trade surprises at tinley

NOW you're talking!! So much to look forward to! I love the speckled and spotted ones! I have another 6 eggs that are due momentarilly! We need to find someone who's reserving a room at Tinley Holiday Inn to do some of this trading. They don't like it done on the floor.

this thing has crests running all the way down to the tail. like a 100% pinstripe only slightly darker than the base color. i just thought it was weird, it came from an orange female that has raised scales all of the way down the whole mid dorsal area.
