Update on escapee

tanmuscles Jul 18, 2003 02:56 PM

Some of you will remember i posted that my baby sav got out about 2 weeks ago. Well, we found him this morning, running along the base of a wall. He wasn't much skinnier than he was when he escaped (he was never very big to begin with), so i'm wondering if he made a living on spiders and other bugs. he used to be fairly timid, but now he is really active and not as scared. So far he has refused several pinkies as he spends all his time trying to get out again. Hopefully he'll eat and get his weight up. Since he doesn't have a name yet, i was thinking along the lines of some famous fugitive or criminal that evaded the law. Any ideas? Thanks.

and keeps his head elevated 3-4 inches off the ground. He still hasn't eaten anything 6 hours after i found him.

I would certainly suspect an URI and dehydration if mine was loose that long. Has he had a warm soak? Are his temps good? That is what I would watch.
What about "The Fugitive"? Dr Richard Kimble?
