Do snakes eat before they shed or not? After the shed do they eat more or eat the same?

Some will and some wont eat before a shed. Mine wont. She is normal a very good eater. If she doesnt eat, then i know to expect a shed within the next few days or so. But she will eat the very day after her shed though.

i know you want a definate answer but like the other post said...some do and some don't. just depends on the snake. i have a ghost corn that won't then i have an amel that will. usually once a snake sheds it will eat with gusto. just my 2 cents
