It just depends on how fast the bp is growing. The faster it grows, the more often it sheds. Its eyes will turn blue for a few days, then they will turn clear again, this is when you know it is about to shed. As soon as the eyes turn clear again, I soak mine for about 2 hours in a 85 degree tub of water. This usually makes the shed come off in one peice. You may also want to up the humidity to maybe 70% or so to help with a shed.
Most bp will not eat during a shed, so I would not offer food If I were you. They are also more likely to strike at you because they cant see that well.
If your bp does not shed in one peice, dont worry. You can put it in the tub for about an hour, and then gently rub the area that has not yet she in the direction of the scales. This should take care of it.
Good luck!
