My corn snake is creeking

freon546 Sep 09, 2005 07:50 PM

i have two corns and when one of them moves in my hand i can hear him creeking!

i think i remember reading that this is a sign of a respiratory infection. i put him in a smaller tank and have him some more heat and humidity. Is there anything else I can do for him? I have not been handling him at all except for every 3rd day or so just to see if he has gotten better (then i put him right back).

Is this really a sign of a repiratory infection or some other sickness?

I cant hear it and when i hold him near my ear i dont hear weezing and i havent seen any foam around his mouth or anything.

Im real worried about him. He is 8 months old and kinda has been kinda shy but i am beginning to wonder if that was just him being sick and not shy. What can i do?

the vet. Even if it is nothing, a vet checkup occasionally is always a good idea.
