Dear P.A., we should probably be on the getula site, but anyone and most of us have had an escapee at some point. A few things to try, keep looking, day and night. If you hear a noise, just faint, check it out, you may get lucky. Try feeding, by putting a mouse into a 1/5 litre plastic pop bottle that you cut the top off and reinserted like a funnel. Sometimes the snake will go in and eat the mouse but not readily leave. Worth a try if still feeding, by my kings are stopping feeding now. Snakes usually travel along walls, so set up some flour trails and observe if you find the trail of flour crossed. Atleast you know what room the snake may be in. I raise mice, and once I lucked out and had an escapee snake come into the mouse cage and eat the occupants and remain for me to discover. You may rediscover many months from now, I once recovered an escapee that was gone for 18 months! It had grown and was scarred up, but surviving in the neighborhood. Good luck, and take care to try and prevent a similar episode. Go to almost any reptile show, you will find abundant vendors of Cal kings. What area do you live in? Good luck, Vic
