Summer was hatched on March 23rd 2003. Here's another that's somewhat similar to Summer from the 2004 clutch. A little more green, but still a beautiful chondro.

Have you posted this pic before or have you been holding out?

I posted these pics a couple of months ago. This snake isn't getting any more green and I still have another that has not one single green scale on it. It's a bit smaller, but time will tell.

from what i have seen from the SCZ animals, they change color very fast...
I think this snake was done changing when Julian got her... and he has had her for a while now...

I am fairly sure that she is done changing...

I've had summer for about 2 years now. She DID get some more green and a few white scales over the past years but seriously nothing worth mentioning. Her juv pattern is the last thing to go and is pretty much gone.

She's done changing.

Nope. Summer's been about the same since around 10 months old. People associate changing in chondros to being a determined amount of time for all animals.....but, certain bloodlines are know to change early and fast, as well as late or slowly. I've had SCZ animals begin changing at 14 weeks old. Most SCZs are done changing at 10-16 months in my experience......and I've raised up quite a few of them. I'd even say the '04 is done.
