been looking for Female Cresteds for 3 months.....

sP1v Jul 18, 2003 04:10 PM

I am relatively new to keeping crested geckos (I have had my single male for just over 6 months now). I have been looking for some female company for him for 3 months now to no avail.

I have been under the assumption that it would be a bad idea to buy any unsexed juveniles as if they turn out to be male then I would not be able to house them together. Is this the case?

I have been unable to find any breeders anywhere selling females, only unsexed jeveniels and 1.1 pairs, should I risk it and just buy some juveniles? I do not have the room in my apartment for another viv (I have 2 vivs and 2 aquariums).

Also I was thinking about going to the NY reptile expo this coming Sunday, would this be a good place to find Females?
