bullsnake Sep 10, 2005 10:22 AM

I'm traveling later today from Tehachapi Ca.,along the 58 through Barstow, and then getting on I-40 through Ludlow and Essex then through Needles ending up in Lake Havasu Az. I 'm not from the area, and I'll be keeping my eyes open for wildlife(espessially snakes}..Can anyone tell me what kind of snake species I should find in that area? Thank You

I'm not from the area. But the time I have spent there I found that Sidewinders, Shovel-nosed Snakes, Leaf-nosed Snakes, and banded geckoes are pretty common in the area if you drive quiet roads at night.
