Thanks to everyone who replied to my former post. I appreciate your advice and ideas, and just to clear up any worries you may have about his diet, here is what I feed him....most of the time. I do not feed him lettuce at all. I feed him mainly Collard greens, mustard greens, and some turnip greens. I also give him occasional squash, green beans, papaya, and some other fruits. I do give him the dry pellets as an every day diet, but he does not eat as much of those as he does his greens. The earthworms (nightcrawlers), in the past, have put more weight on him faster than crickets or any veggie/fruit. They are also a healthy food with a good calcium
hosphorous ratio. I am aware of how much moisture they have and how that contributes to the runniness of the stool, but I only give those to him once every few days. Also, it only takes about three, maybe four, of those and some greens to fill him up rather than about 30-35 crickets. Thanks again for everyone's suggestions. Any others are welcome as well.
