White Suriname pics.......

madisonrecords Sep 10, 2005 03:10 PM

This is definately " old world classic " Suriname. 18yrs ago, when I saw my first Suriname, this is very similar to what it looked like. We did not care much about; enormous thin peeks or super clean. It was all about a tail brighter than a Columbian and light crisp background. This is one of the lightest, you will find anywere. Mike Eckert has a few also and I hope to get some blood from his white lines and hopefully be able to at least offer him some of mine. This is as dark as she ever gets and would have to be seen in person to really appreciate.......Johnson Herp

I wanted to take a better pic of this girl. I cannot seem to capture just how golden, she really is. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but this is one of my favorite boas in the world. Her markings are ink black and gorgeous on her golden background. My French Guiana males, who have the same unique characteristics, have been breeding her really well. We will see what happens........Johnson Herp

You know John, my male "OG 97'" reminds me of you suri there. Mine is so light at times that he looks white and black. The female is light too but she turned really gold/yellow. Peaks or no peaks high contrast BCC's are awesome! I have seen the white one Mike has and he/she is crazy light....cant wait to see some offspring for sure.

Here is a pic of my dude (Bobo's Bro)...it's not the best pic to show how light he is... he is in his light phase but the camera setting were not correct. I dont take many phots of him due to the large scar on his tail and his "I want to kill you" agressiveness.

Your girl is awesome.. I hope you produce a ton of little ones just like her! Later

True Redtails

madisonrecords Sep 10, 2005 04:08 PM

That guy is AWESOME! I was the very first person in 1997 to recieve the polaroid pictures of all those Unknown Local Boas. I was younger and did not make alot of money and at that time, I was having some difficulties and could not get any. If they would have came in a few months later, I could have bought them all. Every time I see one, I marvel at their uniquness and I would love to see you get some babies from the PURE LINE of those animals. Your two pure line animals, may be the last hope of getting that pure unknown line started and out there to the Hobby. Be sure to put me on the list for a few of them, if it happens.......Johnson Herp

That's a SICK looking boa! I would love to have a true redtail one day. At the moment I have three BCIs and I unfortunately have no more room to get a true. I guess I could house them together, but I don't think that's a good idea. I'm a big fan of Suris, yours looks really sick, nice job with that man!

saddles on a white background is probably my favorite. Beautiful animal John.

I don't care about crazy peaks. I don't care about some speckles. You give me a ton of contrast and a bright red tail and that's what makes a beautiful boa.----------RON

That animal was produced by Jay McLear at www.bestboids.com. It was from Steve Hammond's bloodline. Mark, if you're ever interrested, Jay would be the guy to contact. Take care.-----RON

To me, really good contrast is truly stunning. Here is a pic of my female silverback, but it still doesn't capture the great contrast she has in person.
