Carpet Pythons Eating Fish?!?!?!?!

Dan6971 Sep 10, 2005 06:02 PM

After seeing these photos, I wonder if I have a chance...

My fiancee and I are to be married in two weeks. Last night, we spoke to a girl working at a local Petland Pet Store and she was showing my fiancee how nice snakes can be and how much she loves them.

Anyway, my fiancee, Brandi, is really most concerned with snakes' eating habits. Mainly speaking - they eat mice/rats. I told her that Garter snakes ate bugs and fish and she seemed more inclined to allow that.

Anyway, I just saw this link on this web-site, showing Carpet Pythons eating fish... Is it possible for any Jungle Carpet Pythons to eat fish if that's all they are given? Even if they have eaten mice since birth (in June 2005)?

Thanks,
Dan from Long Island

Dan, I think you need to get a Bearded Dragon instead of a JCP, the eat crickets and veggies and they'll hang out with you when you watch TV.
