Overall, I like these. The tree boa shot is my favorite - nice composition that portrays action. The large letters across the photos are a little distracting, and the exposure needs to be bumped up a notch on the chameleon. I like the angled light on the chameleon because it give 3-dimemsionality to the scales, but this effect is a little overdone on the dragon, producing a gaping black shadow behind the head across the neck.
But again, nice job overall. The shots are nice and sharp.
As always, providing details about equipment / techniques used is helpful when asking for critique.

thanks for the insight, yeah, i only had one off camera flash gun and no reflector or fill, i didnt care for the harsh shadows either...your advice will be well taken.
OMG!!!
Those are great! What camera and setting do you use to take those pictures. I have been searching for a camera that does that whole black out thing.
What do you recommend?
Please let me know
share the knowledge!

i use a canon 10d and canon 35-80 lens....the black out effect you speak of has to do with the flash...you need an off camera flash with extension cable...just put the flash above the subject and in front slightly....this way the light is angled down and doesnt hit your backdrop...
Thank you so much!
