I got this girl at an auction because I am cheap.($4.)
Seriously at the time I thought she may be what I was looking for, a holbrooki X splendida.
She was "labeled" as a "speckled FL king" and now that she's a bit older I think that she may indeed be Floridana X holbrooki.
What do you think?
Do you see anything different??
Thanks.

Mark as we discussed earlier I think it is a Holbrooki X Floridana.
I guess that is why it was called a 'speckled' floridana.....
The labial colors and patterns are very similar to Holbrooki...
Also...the yellow/orange sidewalls near the neck appear to be Holbrooki to me. The multicolored crossbars (not all yellow or all white) look to be Floridana and not Splendida......Splendida crossbars are usually very distinct at a young age, w/o that speckling in between the crossbars which look very similar to Floridana speckling......
Just my guess and my couple pennies....

Agreed, definitely looks like Holbrooki in that Floridana. Great markers, John, especially the labials. Cool looKING snake, Mark!
