Juan M Sep 10, 2005 10:59 PM

What type of flood light should i get to have my temps around 130F?I am using a flood light that is 125watts and only gets my temp up to 110F.I heard somewhere that i can buy a 45watt flood light and get my temp around 130F .What type of flood light is it?

Thanks,Juan M

It sounds like your flood light and basking spot are to far from each other. You can lower the light or raise the basking spot.

Try using a piece of wood or a rock to elevate the basking spot. That is a very high wattage for an aquarium, if you are using an aquarium.
