so it seems my little boy is ok! all the tests came back ok and when his side was squeezed, he did not move or grunt so the infection must be going away! i also switched to oral meds as i think i was going to need more antibiotics to heal the damage i was doing to his legs. she tried to open his mouth with a q-tip looking thing and after struggling with him a minute said "are you sure you will be able to do this?" and i told her "oh no, i just wait till THEY open their mouths" also in a week that little porker gained 14 grams and it wasn't poop weight because he had just pooped before we went to the vet.
the weird part is that he has pinworms, apparently they aren't affecting his weight. i have to medicate both of them. helga is not going to be happy about this.

That is unfortunate about the pin worms, but congrats on Hugo's otherwise clean bill of health! That is phenomenal news!! WoooHooooo!!!
