This hurts. Brings a ques. You don't want to hurt the snake but he won't let go. The water from the faucet DOESN'T work. Used a q-tip. All is well. Note to self: Feed 5' brooksi more than 2 large mice b4 holding next time. These things will eat anything! Dave.

Instant photos. My son who took the photo was also laughing. Dave.

Lovely picture. Typical king, and a rather pretty one IMO. White vinegar in a spritz bottle gets Sophia to spit me out. Haven't gotten a picture of her chomping me yet.

This best thing that works every time is to put a dab of rubbing alcohol on the end of their nose and as soon as they take one whiff of the fumes they will spit you out. No matter how big the snake is. I used it countless times feeding breeder cal kings that would fly out of the cage during feeding time and wrap around my hand.

When they get so big they don't want pinkies.

I make sure to have a mouse on the tongs ready before I open the lid, because he's coming out as soon as it's open!! I'll take that over a picky feeder anytime.
