well, all i can say is that ive had 2 clutches hatch out at around the 3-month mark. now ive got about 10 eggs that look plenty fertile sitting and waiting, but they're starting to take noticeably longer. i remember people talking about waiting up to 5 months, so you're right around there i guess!

here's hoping for a nice new addition to your family really soon!

I sure hope they will hatch then there is another that was layed about 3 weeks after those 2 the end of April. So I actually have 3 that should be here.

Then the other 2 were layed later in May so have some waiting ...

I would find it sooooooooooooooo dang dissappointing at this point if the KA- POOFED on me!

it depends on what temp you incubate them at. you could probably consistantly knock off over a months time if you incubate them at warmer temps. with cooler incubation time it will take longer and you would probably have a better chance of hatching out females(i think with uroplatus,i know its so with almost all other geckos). dont tap into the egg or open it. if it wont hatch on its own it probably wont survive if you help it.

i have had an egg survive after i helped open it. i posted pictures of him earlier(it was in febuary) this year right after i helped him hatch. sorry i havnt been writing as much i have been super busy but i have been keeping up with everybody. i had 7 (5.2)satanics hatch this year and i have four eggs left to hatch.if it is close to a hacth date and temps are approriate the egg could need some help.i have done it with some success but everybody should do it at their own risk. good luck pheve and i hope to see your pics as soon as they hatch.

bah! not to rub it in or anything, but i just had one hatch out last night. oh man im willing to say its the best looking henkeli ive got now. ill try to get pics up, but my computer is really struggling right now. this was actually the first clutch from that female to hatch out, if you remember a few months back i was having troubles with one of my females cracking her eggs. so this one didnt have a clutchmate, but its beauty pretty much makes up for that.

and jason....you were wrong buddy! it's never too late in the season to be hatching out some leaftails!
just might have to wait a lil longer.
