They typically have a pink head, nice red coloration, and banded pattern. They a very neat looking!!! I have to wait untill next year to pick some up : (. Getting 1.2 for sure!

how old is that guy? and as he ages will he end up looking more like the one pictured at bushmaster?

Jeff,

He was from the first breeding Cam did with that female which was 02' I believe. That would make him three years old. I saw a hatchling pic, a yearling pic, and what he looks like now. When he came out of the egg his colors were closer to the mom, then he turned really bright red with bright yellow sides, now he looks like this and apparently changes color all of the time. Obviously his pattern isnt going to change, but his colors supposedly do all the time, if he gets some more white on him I wont complain. The breeding was done from the female tiger to a male striped so it's difficult to pick out the different patterns, since he has both genes (which I believe to be co dom). If you have any more q's feel free.

The first is a het male hatched in 03 and second is a normal male hatched out in 04. Not tigers just neat patterns.
