Hi! Fruitflies and pinhead crickets is said to be the right
diet for them. Usually they start to eat after the first shedding of the skin. My self I have seven S.Petrii eggs in my incubator and more is coming up. How long did it take for your egg to hatch? Here it has been 63 days since they laid the first egg. All eggs exept one are pink in colour but I am not sure if they are dead or not. Can´t seem to see any development when I candle them.

It took forever to hatch! lol i thought it was dead but it stayed pink and and i could see a little vein in it so i just kept inqubating it, it was laid on july 6th-10th dont remember, i'll have to see if i wrote down the exact day it hatched september 8-10th i dont know exactly when but it shed its skin the same day i found it hatched
i offered tiny crickets today(probably a little large than pinheads but plenty small enough for him to eat), it noticed one and looked intrested but then the cricket walked towards it and the baby ran away and started avoiding the cricket when i saw it. i hope he figures out that crickets are for eating.

Ok.Here one laid an egg 8.7. so its been two months now. heard it can take between 60-90 days. Depends on the temp. And the major problem for me is the temp. I don´t have a thermostate so It might rise a little bit too high sometimes.
I red somwhere that the hatchlings should be fed twice a day.
Lets hope the hatchling will start to find interest in the crickets soon.
