omg thats so cool..it looks so much nicer than mine, all mine has are pebbles and two big rocks.
Very nice. I had around the same setup but no longer use pebbles because it makes it harder to clean. Instead, I found a huge rock outside, washed it, and use that as a bottom. It is close to being slatelike, so I just chipped aat it with a hammer until it formed a sort of flat area with an area to come out onto. I also added river rocks, and lots of plastic foliage. How many newts do you have? I have four adults in mine. Yours must be very happy with that setup.
