Any thoughts, insights or other observations to share? I would imagine that it is somewhat different for horridum as they range more to the south and inhabit a more wet/dry climate vs. cold/hot but mebbe not?

Cooling H.horridum below 60F is taking a huge chance. I personally know of two different friends who lost breeding groups of H.horridum at about 55F. H.suspectum and H. horridum, while being very similar have a very different reproductive cycle. For H.horridum keep your cooling temps above 65F if you want to be safe. Remember, H.horridum is a sub tropical animal.
Take care,
