My new baby boy

oc-balls Sep 11, 2005 06:03 PM

Just got home from the Anaheim Show with a baby Albino male from Bob Clark. I can't find my camera, will post pics soon. He's a looker!
Now I just need to get him and my girls up to breeding weight (I cant wait!
Thanks to Bob for the beauty!

On a side note: while checking on my girls, I was holding one for a while, she started to get restless. About half of her body was hanging from my hands, head pointing down. She spit-up/drooled about half a teaspoon of water (I hope it was water). Has this happened to anyone else? Pleas tell me it's not an RI!

Thanks,
Ken

Congrats on the albino!!!! It's a great day when you can add a morph to your colleciton isn't it!!!

If your girl recently drank - it could very well have been water - it's happened to me before they don't seem to keep water down very well - if you move them around too soon after they drink you'll get some back! Was it clear, odorless? Is she otherwise acting normally? Breathing normal, etc.? Keep an eye on her - to make sure - it probably is just water.

I hope she just took a big drink! So far, everything seems OK.

I would have personally bought from anyone else with albinos than the person mentioned.

Ken, just watch her closely , she may have just drank from the water bowl right before you picked her up , if that is the case it is normal for them to spit up water , I've had it happen before as well, usually it's not anything to worry about, but if she does this every time your handling her then you do have a RI going on , take a businness card and use it to open up her mouth to make sure it doesn't look infected as a RI often times makes the mouth looks sore as well, if it looks normal and she's not breathing with a whistle noise or anything strange such as a popping sound then your probably fine.. Good luck, Anthony McCain-McCain's Reptiles.
